Queen Rania of Jordan, the wife of King Abdullah ll will celebrate half a century on Monday 31st August 2020.
Queen Rania was born in Kuwait to a Palestinian family on 31st August 1970. Moving to Jordan for work, she met the then Prince Abdullah, marrying the now King of Jordan in 1993.
The mother to four children - Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman, Princess Salma and Prince Hashem, she is always at the forefront in the fight for women’s and human rights.
