Cape Town, South Africa - 28.07.2023: NEWBALL WORLD CUP
For the first time in its history The Netball World Cup 2023 (NWC2023) is being held on the continent on Africa.
The tournament that runs from the 28th July to the 6th August, takes place at Cape Town International Convention Centre, in Cape Town.
16 teams will be battling it out across the 10 days, in the hope they will be crowned champions in netball’s most prestigious event.
The quadrennial event has been dominated by Australia and New Zealand, with hosts South Africa finishing runners-up in 1995. The last Netball World Cup played in Liverpool, England was won by New Zealand.
