13.05.2015; Italy: AFRICAN MIGRANTS RESCUED
HMS Bulwark and her crew, supported by a Merlin Mk2 helicopter of 814 Naval Air Squadron, conducted a rescue of several hundred migrants who were observed travelling in the Mediterranean in small, potentially vulnerable craft off North Africa.
They are part of Britain’s involvement in the international effort to help migrants crossing from North Africa to Europe.
