PRINCE HARRY_30 years on
Prince Harry celebrates his 30th birthday on the 15th of September 2014

Prince Harry, the younger son of the Prince of Wales, standsMay 12, 2003, beside a portrait of
the Duke of Wellington - the famous victor of
the Battle of Waterloo ( 1815). The portrait hangs in the main hall in Manor House, opposite a miniscule
model of Napoleon because the Iron Duke was a boy in a boarding house on this site - the present version of which dates from 1840. The story of the Duke claiming to have won Waterloo 'on the playing fields of Eton' is most possibly apocryphal, but if true would have related not to College Field (the setting of the Wall game) but the gardens at Manor House, where in the 19th century, boys used to defend the banks of a stream.
