02.08.2023: JUSTIN TRUDEAU AND SOPHIE GREGOIRE TRUDEAU SPILT
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,51, and his wife of 18 years Sophie Gregoire Trudea,48, announced that they are separating on Instagram today in matching posts written in both English and French.
The Prime Minister's office also released a statement to confirm they had reached a legal agreement and revealed that the pair will remain amicable, holidaying together soon with their three kids.
Having married in 2005, they share three children Xavier,15, Ella-Grace,14, and Hadrien,9.
Justin Trudeau will remain at Rideau Cottage with their children, but his wife Sophie has already moved out of the family home to another property in Ottawa.
