The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Mencap, joined Tomas Cardillo-Zallo, a member of Mencap’s Learning Disability Running team, with mum Sue acting as his guide runner, for the first 1.5 miles of his virtual London Marathon, on the Long walk, Windsor Great Park.
Her Royal Highness, who has been Patron of the charity since 2004, ran the first 1.5 miles with Tomas in a show of support for Mencap and its work to change attitudes around learning disabilities.
