accompanied by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, officially unveiled the Centre for Elephant Care at Whipsnade Zoo.
During the visit the Queen and Duke fed a banana each to Donna the elephant.
The £2 million custom-designed Centre for Elephant Care is the new home for the Zoo’s herd of nine Asian elephants.
