10.12.2019, Portsmouth; UK: CAMILLA, DUCHESS OF CORNWALL AND PRINCE CHARLES
attended the official Commissioning Ceremony of the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth, that was marked with a cheeky cake.
Marzipan figures of a sailor with a placard saying 'This time it's HMS...' and another of Camilla saying 'him', pointed to that of Charles.
The joke follows the cake that showed a sailor and The Queen holding up 'HMS' and 'Me' signs when she officially welcomed HMS Prince of Wales's sister ship HMS Queen Elizabeth in December 2017.
The Duchess of Cornwall, as the ship’s Lady Sponsor, presided over the ceremony that welcomed the Prince's namesake £3.1billion aircraft carrier.
